What is HBOT?

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is a therapy that exposes the entire body to increased concentrations of oxygen at greater than normal atmospheric pressure.  This increases the concentration of oxygen dissolved into in the blood, which improves perfusion and oxygenation of tissues throughout the body.  Hyperbaric oxygen therapy stimulates the production of stem cells, boosts immune system function, helps the body clear toxins, and increases the body’s ability to fight infection. One of HBOTs main functions is to decrease swelling and inflammation.

Some Benefits of HBOT

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy

is the medical use of oxygen in a pressurized environment. Increased pressure allows oxygen to diffuse and saturate more effectively in the blood system, primarily the plasma (independent of hemoglobin), which yields a broad variety of positive physiological, biochemical and cellular effects. HBOT is the most trusted non-invasive therapy to increase oxygen levels to all the organs.

Who can benefit from Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?

The range of clinical conditions responding favorably to HBOT is growing rapidly. Many individuals have shown vast improvements with HBOT and the results are generally based on patient treatment outcomes rather than scientific studies. Often times these chronic medical conditions languish in an individual’s life unless the individual requests that HBOT be added to their overall health care program.

What are the benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)?

  • Increases the production and release of stem cells by 800%
  • Enhances the body’s natural healing process
  • Provides oxygen to areas with compromised blood flow
  • Reduces swelling, inflammation, bruising, infection, scarring, and the recovery time from surgery and injury
  • Assists in the growth of new blood vessels (angiogenesis)
  • Enhances formation of collagen and new tissue growth
  • Improves immune system response
  • Recent studies show 79% of autistic children improved on many levels including communication, cognition, and motivation
  • Enhances white blood cells’ ability to destroy bacteria and fungi
  • Creates an unfavorable environment for anaerobic bacterium
  • Facilitates cellular detoxification
  • Improves brain cell function
  • Restores oxygen to depleted tissues and cells
  • Recent studies suggest a common link among children with autism is chronic inflammation of areas of the brain and intestinal tract. The anti- inflammatory effects of hyperbaric oxygen make it an attractive treatment modality for autism
